No vertical scrolling

When you are reading on a screen the size of an iPad, it would often be very helpful to vertically scroll through the text (as opposed to page turning). This is something that iBooks offers, but there is no option for it with kindle. Please fix this. I have an actual kindle but Ive been choosing to purchase from iBooks simply because I can vertically scroll.
