One of the best apps, that becomes better and better with each next release. I enjoy the app a lot and use it to read all pdf and mobi files that I access from my iPhone.

After updating to the latest version the app started crashing right after launch. Always. Restarting and reinstalling dont help
En-Ru dictionary will be appreciated.

I may say this the most ideal reader I have ever tried!
One of the best overall but with minor drawbacks - for instance 99% problem with finished books still remains, no option to move books like you want in a bookshelf, no option for resizing covers so that they all are of the same proportion. But nevertheless I really appreciate it for great sync across platforms, nice fonts and dictionary support
Hi there. The application is excellent, but please improve quality of English-Russian translator. Most phrasal verbs, idioms and the like are not translated properly.
Please add option for TTS inside Kindle app!
The only thing missing is the ability to underline text. Otherwise, it is a perfect app.
I have used the kindle app for a long time. The latest update has made it very user friendly and fun to use. Its great having my books with me where ever I am.
If you have a long password, good luck with the newest version. When I try to paste my password (from LastPass) the app freezes and quits. If I try to manually enter my password, it freezes and quits. They are repeatedly asking me to shorten my password. NO. I am not putting a less secure password on there. Clearly by other reviews, this is not an isolated incident. Why they cant simply admit, "yes, there is a bug" is beyond me. The last email from them they said, "we arent sure which password you are talking about - email, wifi or Amazon account password." Uh... why would my email or wifi password have ANYTHING to do with the broken app? And no other Amazon App (shopping, video, photo, music) has this issue. So for this version... Id give it zero stars if I could.
Reliable for years!
While I find this app to be more reliable than the other main ebook app, I use it for textbooks mainly and am constantly frustrated with the in app menu (library, page, table of contents, etc.). The layout is not user-friendly or intuitive at all. The biggest complaint is how the table of contents is set up. On the PC app, it works perfectly, you can shrink or expand each chapter to look at the sections or hide them. On the iPhone and iPad app, you cannot, so every section is laid out, which makes searching for the next chapter (or much later chapters) very irritating. It basically labels almost every single page in the contents, so it takes a while to find anything that is not on the first page of the first chapter of each book. Seems like such an easy thing to fix, but it has been like this for so long. This is not limited to just one text book, but for all. Also, searching for a concept often yeilds some strange or unrelated results. I have noticed trying to find specific concepts often leads me to no results, so I have to broaden my searches to the point where I am going through numerous different finds just to get to the one thing I need.
Not sure if ios10 is messed up or the app, but I have trouble with playing and pausing audio. It doesnt always work with the headphone control, doesnt always work from the lock screen or the other control screen. I often have to go into the actual app to make play/pause work. Im not sure what is going on. On top of that, I have been having this issue where a book and its audio will be downloaded, and while the audio is playing, it will randomly stop playing and suddenly not be downloaded anymore. Not cool. Not sure what is up but Im a heavy audiobook consumer (3-5+ books a week) and to have these issues so often is ridiculously annoying.
I used to have no problem with the app. Now my battery completely drains within 4 hours. Ive checked my usage in settings and it reads 95% kindle. I dont know if this is due to he new update but it is extremely frustrating!
Kindle app works well on all my devices Apple iPod touch, Windows 10, Kindle Fire. Great for school and all my teaching assignments.
This app used to be a 5 Star. Not anymore. When I read, I read on my Kindle. I listen on my iPhone 6, iOS 10.0.2. When I want to listen to a book, I have, until recently, listened with my Kindle app. Reading the reviews, I see that I am not the only one having issues with the audio portion of downloaded Kindle books. Audio stops randomly, disappearing completely from all my books with audio companions, whether downloaded or in the cloud. To the developers, please fix this.
