Kindle – Read Books, eBooks, Magazines, Newspapers & Textbooks App Reviews

I love the Kindle app. It is wonderful to be able to always have your personal library with you, available on so many devices. I especially like the ability to read and re-read my favorite books, and if I get bored with a title, just go to a new book. I especially like being able to highlight a word I dont know the meaning of, or have forgotten over the years and look up the definition. So not only is Kindle a great reader, but it helps me learn new words. Kindle is probably the best app ever created for any device.

Love the app, have never had any problems whatsoever. I buy my book on Amazon (lots are free or under $5), it shows up in my library, I read. When I switch to my IPad I just sync and start reading where I left off! I would like to be able to purchase books directly from app somehow. Also would be great to have synopsis of book in library.

Given any limitations of the Kindle platform, this app works just fine to deliver a good reading experience. It doesnt crash, it syncs across devices, and it is fast enough to keep up with my reading. I like the idea that you can keep notes tied to a location, or click on any word and get a dictionary definition.

I was slow to make the change from print text to e-readers, but several years ago I bought my first Kindle book from Amazon. Kindle is working very well on my iPad and iPad mini. I am a complete convert, buying printed text books only when a Kindle version is unavailable.

I previously had what I called the "stand alone Kindle". When I purchased the iPad, I was excited to know that I could download books on the kindle app and have all my books available to me, along with my other apps. Awesome!!! Im looking forward to,the future functionality of the Kindle.... It can only get better and better.

I use both Kindle and Overdrive and found that Kindle is just as good on iPhone as it is on a Kindle reader.

I have a few of the reading apps & Kindle is my favorite. Ive never had a problem with it - Ive had it for years on my iPad and various iPhones (currently 6s).

I really like the Kindle app and I love the book selections!

I HATE HATE HATE that I cannot purchase books through the kindle app anymore! I love Amazon and I love kindle! But I cant purchase books anymore from my phone! Not even from the Amazon app. This is very disturbing to me, I dont want to have to fish out my charging kindle to get another book so I can continue reading a series or whatever on my phone, its super annoying. If they hadnt made this change on the app my rating would be five stars. Fix it Amazon, fix it! Im not sure what made you change it in the first place, but change it back.

I love that I can view my library on all of my devices....if I find myself stuck in appt for longer than expected, I can just catch up on my reading, anywhere!! Ive never experienced any issues, I have an iPad Mini, iPad2 Air, iPhone 6 & my Mac Air....& never had anything to complain about =)

I have the actual Kindle and u have this app in my phone as well as all of my kids phones as well!! This is a treasure trove of goodies to me.

I utilize kindle on my iPad...works perfectly and I prefer the kindle format to all other ebook reading opportunities. I read books through seo ebook libraries. Kindle is the most user friendly.

The kindle app is pretty easy to navigate, syncs across devices, and there is no lag. The only thing that would make it better is the ability to purchase books from the app instead of having to go to the website.

I love my kindle app!! I can read my books on my iPad and kindle!!!

Has become my favorite reading app. I especially enjoy using it with whisper sync. Also I really appreciate the book summary. This is a Great app and it does not burn the battery down.
