Love my kindle app! Just wish I could download books straight from the app instead of through an additional app

Since it started using Kindle on my iPhone I find that I read all the time. Waiting on line at a store, waiting for the train, etc. I love the convenience and that I dont need to carry anything extra.

I have had no issues or problems using the kindle app with my i phone. Very few glitches no "lost" books. Or issues for use. I love to read and the kindle app is top 2 for reading apps. No page turning problems. Or stopping and starting to read. I really like this app! I cant stress enough to give it a try. And really put it through some challenges!!!!!!

Im on it day and night. Its so easy to use and makes reading available any time if the day or night. Cant live without it.

I use this app frequently to download books and it always works well. I recommend it to anyone.

Ever since I got my first Kindle, back in 2008, I refuse to read a book if it is not available on Kindle. There is nothing I dont like about the app. I have it on my iPad and my smart phone, get Amazon Daily Deals for a few dollars, rent books from my Amazon Prime, or purchase them at full price. I love how I can look up words or research a subject while reading, that I can read any where, any time, and finish one book and start a new one in a matter of minutes! Get the app, you will Love It.

...things about owning an iPad is using Kindle. I love reading and Kindle makes it even more fun. Theres the choices of font, brightness, tone and ease of definitions. Having also used other readers Ive come to really appreciate the easy use of a bookmark. The only addition I would like to see is an easy way to find my place after leaving a page to see the table of contents. Perhaps there is already a way that I have yet to discover.

4/27 Updated Review: When the app works, its great. Amazon offers a truly awesome book catalog. But. On iPad, its often glitchy, slow to start, freezes, and is generally unresponsive. I have plenty of memory and have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times (obnoxious since I then have to re-download my library). I also think that its completely absurd that one STILL cannot make a direct digital purchase through the Kindle app. There was nothing wrong with it, but now (with this "update") the darn thing wont even open! Highly irritating!

Love this app! Its wonderful to able to read a book wherever I go, without having to lug a book around with me!

Love to read and at times have trouble sleeping. Great to have a black background and to keep the light dim. Allows me to read and still get sleepy without the brightness they say keeps your brain from getting tired. Always back to the correct place, on any device.

I love this app and use it quite often. A book is a way to escape after a day of work. But lately spend an hour reading, when I have a battery of 75% and no other apps open, and my battery is down to 10%. I use high resolution CADD programs on my iPad and they dont take a fraction of the battery usage that reading a book on kindle does. That seems a little off to me.

I use this app for most of my reading but when I send some mobi copies or docs to this app I cant always adjust the font size which makes it more difficult to read. Also, some docs start back at the beginning instead of where I left off in the book. Otherwise I love the application.

My favorite app to read my eBooks. I love the font options, and then screen brightness slider.

I love being able to both read and shop for my phone or iPad. Best app ever!

This app is so convenient!! I wish the screen went dark when I read at night but other than that Ive had no problems
