Why are we reading digital books by "flipping pages"? Why cant we have the option to scroll through books like we would any other digital content? (Web pages, etc.) iBooks has vertical scrolling and I prefer to buy books on iBooks just for that reason, even if the books cost more. Would love for Amazon, which has a better book selection, to copy this vertical scrolling feature from Apple.

Recently acquired a new iPad. After having enjoyed my Kindle White Paper for over three years, I was excited to see the Kindle app was available. Readability is good. Have not decided how to effect ordering and returning of ebooks available through Kindle Unlimited but still accomplish that with the Kindle. Looking forward to becoming more acquainted with the app. So far, I am pleased.

I use Kindle all the time. Ive stopped buying books in paperback form all together. I find the syncing across platforms to be quite useful. If Im upstairs or away from home and dont have my usual iPad I can just open the book Im currently reading on my phone and pick up right where I left off. When I get home to my usual reading iPad it will catch up to where Id gotten to. It is also very convenient to be able to have multiple books going and always have the one you feel like reading with you. It is also nice to be able to get a new book as long as you have an internet connection. My only real problem is that it is not a good tool for beach reading or any kind of reading in the sun.

I have two devices that I use to read books, my iPhone and my iPad. It is fantastic that that the two link together so easily and quickly. I can read on the iPad, go to the gym and read on my phone. With one quick click, Im at the same reading place. Thank Kindle for such a great and easy product to use

Love love love Kindles (all kinds). Love app for phone and computer. Great feature - how position in books/documents is saved across devices (as long as can connect to internet). Can start reading on phone and then pick up where I left off on Kindle.

Unfortunately, on my ipad pro, whenever I tap and pull up the page scroller (which is very nice, btw), but then when I tap one of those pages to bring up the full page in the reader, all I get is a white page. I am using the new iPad Pro 2, so maybe its to do with this specific device? But it happens consistently, so its easily repeatable by the test team at Amazon. Also, if I shut down the app and then bring it back up, that gets rid of the empty white page. So, debug away Amazon! Fix this problem and right up to 5 stars I go! Please fix this asap. Ive upgraded 3 times and the problem remains. If its not fixed by the next update, Il uninstall/reinstall to see if that fixes it. Other than that, I think the app is great! ------------------ update. ------------------- Uninstalling and reinstalling does not fix this problem. Even when I set to night mode, tapping on a page to open from the page scroller still gives me a blank white screen. Scrolling does nothing, but tapping again brings back the page scroller intact.

Its very easy to read books and I always have one available.

So convenient and easy to use. Never thought Id enjoy digital reading but Kindle has converted me.

I truly enjoy the Kindle App because it lets know where I left off on my iPhone and laptop. When I purchase a book, it downloads efficiently and is ready for me to open and start reading. Its very nice to be able to read on my iPhone if Im waiting or otherwise am not busy. Continue to improve the app as needed. Im very satisfied!

Love the app! Only complaint is that kindle doesnt always warn me when I select a new book Ive already read. Havent made a big deal about this because so far the majority of books Ive read are unlimited and therefore dont cost a dime.

Kindle remains my go to app for reading. Ive tried many but Kindle delivers more than I expect plus they continue to improve at every opportunity.

I am using this app more and more to build my virtual library. A much needed improvement would be to structure so gathered books, PDFs, documents, etc could be filed into categories.

I love to read and dont have the time in my busy days to stop by a book store or visit my local library much. So the Kindle app is perfect for me. I also have unlimited Kindle and like a good library, I have happened upon hundreds of great books. Many of them I would have Never picked up and purchased. Books are just too pricey now. So I load up my IPad from Amazon, and when thats finished, off I got to sit on a plane or in the airport, hunting thru hundreds of books all for free. They load easily and the app works ... Love it
