Kindle – Read Books, eBooks, Magazines, Newspapers & Textbooks App Reviews

Used to be perfect...now whenever you try to highlight or define a word it freezes up for several seconds. And not just sometimes, I mean like EVERYTIME. I really hope they fix this.

Heres the deal! Do you want 10,000 books taking Up shelf room in your house or apartment? What if theres a fire? What if you have to move? The Kindle is the best thing to happen to literature since Shakespeare. Get one!

I just love Kindle books. I read all the time and really enjoy the stories.

So easy to learn and use. Quick response / loading time. Especially enjoy the first couple chapters free to read / review before I spend 10$ on a book, this single feature has saved me hundreds of dollars. The one thing I would love to see changed is ...... a tracking system. I have a passion for books and would love to track how many I have read. Like you have have read 78 books or something similar. Doesnt have to be rocket scientist quality just a basic tracker

Great source of reading material especially with the kindle unlimited. Finding good reading material is never a problem!

Latest version is very slow to open. Tales 2 or 3 taps to get it open on either iOS device (so no, its not the device).

I didnt always love this app, but they have continued to improve it in sometimes surprising ways that really makes it top notch. One of my familys most used apps. We now have hundreds of books in our library and growing. The immersion reading feature for my daughter was a game changer. Great job!

Works well if you are constantly reading but it has become apparent that you have to remove the book over and over again to get it to load. Was in the middle of a book go into the app to finish and had to remove it. Shouldnt have to remove and re download to read a book once its downloaded!

I love my kindle, I love to read and it make it so easy for my iPhone or my iPad. Its a great App.

This app is great if youre an adult. I have it on my kids tablets and it doesnt work with the Amazon prime family library. Apparently that only works with actual Kindle devices. Also no parental controls. I dont want my kids having access to all my books, so that is a big problem. Please add parental controls or a way to use the family library!!

Love this app! Big reader so this is useful when youre almost always on the go

I read some than go to something else and come back to reading and the app crashes!

Why? This is just a fu***g ebook reader! Opens plain text and shows some images. It should be <10 MB. Its wasting my space with DRM and ad trash.

For students/professors/anyone who takes notes with their Apple Pencil/stylus while reading---split screen would be fantastic. This way, I tend to avoid the app and use the kindle cloud reader instead in order to take notes by hand in notability or some other handwriting app. (PS: I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to take notes by hand rather than type their notes)

Its ok but its not very intuitive. Plenty of room for improvement. The syncing capabilities work well so Im ok with it.

Its so easy to use and I can read from all my devices! I like the convenience of getting books from Amazon

Cant even download it. It just says try back later. Everywhere app I try downloads fine, is apple regret I got it because its not iBooks? But if that was the case why is it on the Apple Store....puzzling

Double tap to zoom out and get some context, explore flipping through the pages and come back to your original spot in a tap and footnotes are no longer awkward. Great update

I love the app I can read Kindle books on my Kindle Fire and my IPhone.... Best ever!

I love, love, love my Kindle app!! It has updates that constantly improve the functionality and I can read thousands of books on my phone or iPad whenever and wherever I want.
